What is Healing?
Healing is all about Jesus; there is no other source of healing in the world. Even our bodies’ ability to fight off infections, regenerate and rebuild broken bone, form new neural pathways in the brain – all this is from Jesus, who is the Word of God by whom the entire universe was created. So when we talk about healing, we are always talking about the work of Jesus. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists and other medical professions are specialised in helping healing take place, and it is a wonderful calling in itself – our patron saint, Luke, was himself a physician!
Healing is, in Jesus’ words: “I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full”

To heal as a whole person; in our bodies, our emotions and our relationships, we go directly to Jesus. In Him we find perfect health for our whole being: body, soul and Spirit. Healing through Jesus’ ongoing ministry is a personal engagement with Jesus.
Healing is, in Jesus’ words: “I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full” It is a wonderful vision: fullness of life in body, soul and spirit: strength and rest in our physical being, peace and wholeness in our emotions, clarity and wisdom in our thoughts, self-governance and honesty in our relationships. Jesus gave away his own life the Cross to give this to us, and rose again to make sure not even death can be a barrier to life – resurrection to eternal life is the ultimate healing!
So, Healing is all about bringing ourselves and others into the presence of Jesus, because healing is central to who Jesus is – Jesus who is the same yesterday, today and forever and Who had said He will always be with us.
